Working in Canada
Nursing is regulated by provinces and territories, so internationally educated nurses must follow the regulator's process for the place and nursing category in which they intend to practise. NNAS is the first credential-assessment step for many applicants outside Quebec and the territories, after which the regulator decides any examinations, language evidence, education, or other requirements. Immigration and work authorisation are separate processes with criteria that vary by pathway.
Application preparation
Use the published role and current official requirements as your source of truth, then present your experience accurately.
GoToCV helps prepare editable application drafts. It does not currently provide a dedicated Canadian job search, assess registration or immigration eligibility, confirm credential outcomes, guarantee employer support, or guarantee an interview or job offer. Confirm requirements with the relevant regulator and official immigration sources.
