Working in United Kingdom
Nurses must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) before practising in the UK. The overseas route assesses qualification, health, character, language, and competence requirements; applicants on the Test of Competence route complete the required computer-based test and OSCE. A Health and Care Worker visa requires an eligible job offer from an approved sponsor and has separate occupation, salary, and immigration criteria.
